Conservatory Classes & Programs
Conservatory classes & programs are audition opportunities for dancers who express extraordinary commitment and talent in the art of dance. These dancers are invested in more fully investigating the art of dance and are willing to commit to both their team and regimen. These dancers are considered ambassadors for the CREO studio both as leaders within the CREO community and representatives of CREO outside the studio.
CREO Classical Ballet is CREO’s track for the dancer seeking to achieve technical and artistic excellence in Ballet and Pointe. This comprehensive training program begins early in their dance training to equip today’s young dancers with the artistry and athleticism expected of classical ballet in the 21st century.
Flight is a conservatory-level technique and performance class for Level 5-7 dancers. Flight was created to give CREO students an opportunity to continue their technique training, take risks, and perform choreography with maturity and vulnerability in ways that are above and beyond their regular classes.
TEAM Hip-Hop & Hip-Hop Invitational
TEAM Hip-Hop is the conservatory class for dancers who are skilled in both hip-hop and acro. They represent individuality, energy, and high physicality. TEAM Hip-Hop dancers take at least one jazz or hip-hop class outside of the TEAM Hip-Hop class itself, and perform at a variety of CREO events throughout the school year including Cathedral Dance Festival and in multiple CREO recitals. These dancers also continually keep with their training in acro.
Hip-Hop Invitational is a class for intermediate hip-hop dancers ready for a challenge beyond what the All Ages & Stages hip-hop classes can offer.
