Andrea Brovold

Communications manager, Events, Assistant ballet, pointe, pre-pointe

With a storied international life as a ballet dancer,  choreographer, and instructor, Andrea Brovold is elated to have come full circle back to the Minnesota dance/arts circuit fostering her commitment to mentoring and developing the next generation of dance artists.

As many of Andrea’s former students have been auditioned by and accepted with accolades to pre-professional and professional programs, she continues to consult the career-minded dancer on transitioning to the next echelon of dance.

Andrea Brovold began dancing at Hopkins Dance Center and went on to study at the Milwaukee Ballet, Ballet Iowa, Ballet Arts Minnesota, Andahazy Ballet and was honored to be accepted into both Ballet Aspen’s and The Royal Winnepig’s summer programs, later deferring as she was awarded as a scholarship recipient into the prestigious Meadows School of the Arts Dance Department at Southern Methodist University, Dallas Texas where she earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Psychology.

Andrea’s preferred genres of dance span several decades of established and focused training and pedagogy in both Cecchetti and Vaganova methods of classical ballet and pointe, contemporary, Graham technique, jazz and musical theatre.

At CREO Arts and Dance Conservatory, Andrea has come HOME again. What a beautiful thing.
