2025 CREO Fall Audition
Audition Details:
Date: Friday, September 12th, 2025
Location: 15102 Minnetonka Industrial Road, Minnetonka MN 55345
- 4:30-5:45 – Grade 2-5
- Parent Meeting 4:30-4:45
- 5:45-7:00 – Grade 6+
- Parent Meeting 5:45-6:00
What to Wear to the Audition:
- Black or solid color leotard
- Pink or skin tone tights or black leggins
- Ballet or Jazz shoes
- Hair in an updo pulled back away from your face – dancers may stylize with braids or bow to stand out!
What to Bring to the Audition:
- A water bottle
- Your best smile!
2025 Spring Auditionees: Dancers who have already auditioned for the 2026 production of Tales & Tails and/or Mary Poppins do not need to attend the Fall audition, however we thank you for completing this form which requests additional details such as fall availability, costume sizing, and updated t-shirt size among others.
Opportunities Information
Due to the nature of procedures for securing venues, some performance dates remain TBA.
CREO Arts & Dance will hold auditions for the 2026 production of Tales & Tails of Folks & Fairies. Dancers accepted for large roles or solos will rehearse over the summer. Other dancers will be cast in group pieces to begin rehearsals in the fall. These dancers will receive their roles by Late-September. Dancers who audition for Tales & Tails in the Spring do not need to attend the annual fall T&T audition, (Fall 2025.)

Cost to Participate in The Nutcracker Large Roles: $300
*Dancers will be notified with their audition result if they are cast in a role requiring the higher tuition rate (for example, but not limited to: Fairies, Wind, Little Girl, etc…)
- Tier 1 = 1 role: $300
- Tier 2 = 2 roles: $325
- Tier 3 = 3+ roles & featured roles: $375
T&T Feature Role Rehearsal Commitment:
- Approximately 4-6 role rehearsals over the summer
- Periodic Brush-ups between Sept-Jan 2026
- Approximately 2-4 Full-Scene Rehearsals between Sept-Jan 2026
- Full-Cast Rehearsals Wed/Fri/Saturdays the months leading up to the performance.
T&T General Rehearsal Commitment:
- Approximately 4-6 role rehearsals scheduled between June-Jan 2025
- Approximately 2-4 Full-Scene Rehearsals between Sept-Jan 2025
- Full-Cast Rehearsals Wed/Fri/Saturdays the months leading up to the performance.
Parent Obligation: Parent Volunteers play a vital role in any show weekend at CREO. Because Tales & Tails typically involves over 100 children, we ask that each family volunteer for at least 1 position to ensure the success of our rehearsal process and performances. A Sign-up Genius will be sent out in December. Families unable to volunteer will be charged a $75 activity fee after the close of the show.
Over the past 10 years, CREO is proud to have partnered with Wayzata Community Church to cast dancing roles in their musical theater productions. Next season Wayzata Community Church looks forward to mounting the beloved Broadway classic, Mary Poppins, and invites CREO dancers to participate!

Rehearsal Schedule:
- January 2 & 3 – 3:00-5:00 pm @ CREO
- January 9 – 4:30-6:30pm @ CREO
- January 10 – 2:30-4:30pm @ CREO
- March 2, 3, 5, 9, & 10 – 6:00-10:00 pm @ the Church
- March 7 – 8:00-10:00 am @ the church
Dress Rehearsal/Performance Dates:
- March 11-15, 2026
Cost to Particpate: $175 (CREO dancing role only)
