Accelerated/Conservatory – Summer

Punchcards may not be used for attendance to camps, workshops or intensives.

PUNCHCARD DATES:

• Monday, June 23 – Punchcard classes begin
• Week of June 30th – No Punchcard classes. Punchcard classes are paused due to the Commercial Jazz Intensive.
• Week of July 28 – CREO is closed. No CREO punchcard classes, camps, or workshops.
• Week of August 12 – No Punchcard classes. Punchcard classes are paused during the Level 1-3 & 4-7 Blitz.
• Friday, August 22 – Last day of punchcard classes!

Summer Requirements

FAQ: What counts towards my summer hour requirement

• CREO Classical Ballet Intensive, Broadway Intensive, Commercial Jazz Intensive and The CREO Dance Blitz, and Punchcard Classes all count towards the summer hour requirement
• All other workshops are excellent supplements to a dancer’s dance education, however do not count towards the summer hour requirement.

PROGRESSIVE INT/ADV(4P),  ADV 1(5P), & ADV 2(6P)
Progressive dancers must take the Blitz, or 15 hours of Punchcard class. *Please choose classes from the level 4-6 classes.

ACCELERATED LEVEL 1
Dancers must take the Blitz *We highly recommend that level 1 dancers attend both an intensive and Blitz.

ACCELERATED LEVELS 2-3
Dancers must take an intensive & Blitz OR the Blitz & 10 hours of punchcard class. *Dancers aspiring to be en pointe are recommended to take 2 days of ballet & 1 days of pre-pointe.

ACCELERATED LEVELS 4-7
Dancers must take at least 30 summer dance class hours (approximately half of which must be ballet) OR the Blitz, 1 other intensive (Ballet or Jazz), & 10 hours of punchcard class.
*All pointe dancers must follow the CCB regimen to continue study Pointe.

Conservatory Programs

CREO CLASSICAL BALLET & PATHWAY PROGRAM
– The CREO Classical Ballet Intensive (strongly recommended for Pathway)
– 3 days/week of Ballet year-round
– 2 days/week of Pointe or at least 1 day/week of Pre-Pointe
– CCB Program dancers (not Pathway) please prioritize the Wednesday CCB-Only technique class in your schedule

FLIGHT
To be evaluated for placement in this ensemble for the 2025-2026 dance season please take the following classes & intensives as an audition series over the course of 6 weeks through June-August,

• Jazz, Contemporary, & Flight (Level 5+) – Monday punchcard classes
• 1 day/week of Acro year-round
• The CREO Dance Blitz
• 2 days/week of Ballet year-round

FAITH BASED ENSEMBLES (FOOTPRINTS, ROOTS, VERVE)
To be evaluated for placement in these ensembles for the 2025-2026 dance session please take the following summer classes:

• Faith Builder: My Strength & My Shielf – June 23-27
• Complete the Accelerated Program summer requirements for your level
• Dances performing in the Nativity 2025 will audition in March 2025
• Nativity Dancers are required to attend the Nativity Intensive August 18-21

HIP-HOP INVITATIONAL, PRE-TEAM, & TEAM HIP-HOP
To be evaluated for placement in these ensembles for the 2025-2026 dance season please the following punchcard classes as an audition series over the course of 6 weeks through June-August,

• Pre-TEAM & TEAM (Grade 8-12) – Wednesday Hip-Hop and Acro punchcard classes
• Hip-Hop Invitational (Grade 5-7) – Tuesday Hip-Hop and Acro punchcard classes

*Flight, TEAM, Pre-TEAM, Hip-Hop Invitational, & Faith-Based Ensembles are placed by auditions. Not all dancers who audition will be placed in these conservatory companies.
