Private Lessons & Coaching

Christa Anderson-Hill is the director and owner of CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory. She is a certified life coach through the Life Coach Institute and holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota. With over 45 years of experience learning, teaching, and growing in the art of dance, Christa continues to inspire students through her passion for creativity, excellence, and faith-driven artistry. Her coaching strengths include active listening, goal setting, and bringing a sense of fun to every interaction.

Ms. Christa is working with dancers grades 6-10 who are interested in goal setting related to technical improvement, auditions, intensives, mental toughness, or grit.

30 Minute Consulation

This session will focus on establishing the student's needs and goals. A parent must accompany the dancer. Sometimes, 30 minutes is sufficient for a student to express themselves or to determine a path forward. Cost: $30

Single session

1 - 60 minute session
​The second session will delve deeper into the student's needs & goals. Dancers will receive a custom action plan to help them progress toward their goals and overcome obstacles. If the dancer is hoping to audition for intensives or performances, we will create a timeline and checklist, which may include communicating with intensive coordinators, scheduling auditions, improving skills needed for auditions/intensives, and scheduling photo sessions. A parent must accompany the dancer during this session. Cost: $75

3 - session bundle

3 - 60 minute sessions
The Three-Session Package emphasizes accountability. Once obstacles have been identified and goals have been set, the dancer and will check in over the course of 3 sessions to assess successes, identify new challenges, and determine how to progress. We will review timelines and checklists, and the dancer will receive a written report, including action items, after each session. These sessions help develop a supportive, lasting relationship, fostering open communication for years to come. A parent must accompany the dancer for at least one of these sessions. Cost: $200

Ms. Alejandra is offering personalized advising sessions to help CREO dancers navigate their next big step after high school, whether that’s pursuing dance in college, auditioning for a professional dance school, or seeking a trainee position. She is taking on a limited number of advisees this year to ensure personalized attention and optimal results.  

Ms. Alejandra is working with dancers grades 10-12 one-on-one to create a clear roadmap and provide the guidance to help achieve their goals. Together, you will:

  • Find the Right Fit: Identify post-high school options that align with your interests, values, and budget, helping you discover where you can thrive.
  • Develop a Strategic Plan: Build a personalized action plan to help you manage logistics, meet deadlines, and navigate the application and audition processes with confidence.
  • Craft Your Story: Get expert help clarifying your vision, articulating your passion in compelling essays and artist statements, and preparing for interviews.
  • Assemble a Stand-Out Portfolio: Select your strongest photos, videos, and audition pieces to create a polished portfolio that gives you a competitive edge in applications and auditions.

Private Lessons

CREO offers both private lessons (one student) and semi-private lessons (2-4 students). Private lessons are a wonderful chance to fine-tune your technique and performance quality, perfect your signature step, or learn a new leap or trick! All private lessons and rehearsals will take place at CREO.

Cancelation Policy: Lessons that are canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson must still be paid for.
