Alejandra Iannone

Alejandra Iannone is a performing artist, teacher, and philosopher. She was classically trained in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet and holds degrees in Dance (B.F.A. Ailey/Fordham) and Philosophy (M.A. Temple University). Alejandra has performed and taught across the United States and abroad. Recent performance engagements include Minnesota Opera, Kerry Parker Dance, The Playwrights’ Center, Hatch Dance/HoneyWorks. Favorite venues have included The Ordway, Carnegie Hall, Jacob’s Pillow, the Versace Mansion, and The Armory. She is an American Ballet Theatre Affiliate Instructor whose recent teaching engagements include CREO, Saint Paul Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theatre, and The Ailey School. When she isn’t performing or teaching, Alejandra co-directs immersive theatre company Sparkle Theatricals and choreographs dance mash-ups. Her writing on these and other subjects has been published in various scholarly and journalistic channels. Alejandra is a citizen of the USA and Argentina. She loves to draw, garden, swim, and cook.
