Today’s ballet dancer must be more than just a technician. According to this demand in the industry, CREO has created a ballet syllabus which develops the ballerina from the inside out. Our Vaganova (Russian Ballet) based barre is fused with modern dance elements (Graham, Horton & Limon) such as spinal articulation, contraction, extension, rise and fall. We also engage our dancers with a variety of both classical and contemporary music. Our ballet curriculum provides dancers with exceptional technique, expression, and tools for creativity.
Stimulates the imagination and self-expression. Dancers learn ballet basics, explore rhythm patterns, and develop motor skills in a creative, exciting environment. We will learn how to stand in line, be kind to others, follow the leader, and express our hearts through movement.
Hip-Hop dance emerged in the ‘70s and ‘80s and is a collection of high-energy, competitive, social dance forms. This class will get dancers groovin’ with fun, fresh, key steps such as toprock, basic breakdancing, freezes, six-step, popping, and locking. Hip-Hop dance is athletic, exciting, and stresses individuality and self-expression. CREO teachers use age appropriate, wholesome hip-hop music, both old school and contemporary.
